1973. Maria and Alexandros, a young couple deeply in love and with big dreams, create their first bags in a tiny workshop. Little did they know that, decades later, their creations would bring joy to people from all over the world. 

For us, Egg means the birth of art in the form of a bag. Music, dancing, poetry, laughter, loving, are forms of art. So is creating these bags for you, every single one made by hand. Every single one, a unique creation – like you.

Over the years, our family grew and a team of people with big personalities, big aspirations and big determination joined us and learned our craft. Against all odds, we are still here, in our own workshop (quite bigger now), creating bags that we hope will accompany you in every happy, adventurous, exhausting, exciting moment of your life. 
Our hope is that, like a good friend, you will hold your very own Egg bag where it belongs, right next to your heart.
